7 Notes – Authorized Yamaha Music School

2787 Preston Rd. #1190,
Frisco, TX 75034
(972) 335-5112

The Yamaha curriculum is broad compared to traditional private piano lessons. Children sing solfège, play the keyboard, sing songs with lyrics, move to music, play rhythm and keyboard ensembles and participate in music appreciation activities. They develop diverse musical skills without prematurely focusing on one instrument or style. This approach allows students to choose their future musical path when they are more physically and mentally mature. Yamaha students are often leaders in school orchestra, band, and choir programs. – 7-notes.com

School of Rock Frisco

6891 Main St.
Frisco, TX 75034
(214) 872-2878

School of Rock’s keyboard lessons is vastly different from traditional one-on-one beginner piano lessons that most students end up dreading. At School of Rock, our keyboard teachers get students to love the keyboard (and piano) by teaching them to play popular rock songs while implementing basic concepts and skills like finger placement, scales, pedaling, key differentiation, and rhythm. We start with private keyboard lessons paired with band rehearsals to prepare our piano students to play a live gig with a full band. School of Rock’s core philosophy is that performance-based music education is the best way for students to gain musical proficiency. All of our lesson programs include a performance aspect. – schoolofrock.com
